The -ism of religion

. Explain why you selected each of the TWO videos you choose from the selection listed above. I chose the Buddhism video because I've always had an interest in it. I watched Hinduism because I've never heard much of it and I wanted to learn something new. 2. For each video list/discuss the key concepts you learned. I knew that Buddhism is a religion based on love and peace but seeing how it played a part in art helped me see how much people appreciated it.  Both videos explained the many different religions and the way that these religions played a role in art development 4. What is your opinion of the films? How do they add depth to understanding of the readings and art concepts? I liked the both videos mostly because they helped me explore cultures that are different from my own.

1.  -What art is -Definition of  Aesthetics -Art History -Different Philosophers 2. Plato, he believed that art is just an imitation of a real-life object. I agree with this because if you're making a video you're reproducing images used in real-life, if you're making a painting it is based on a real-life experience except that it is altered.  3. I love how they used science as a way to explain aesthetics because when I think of it I think of it as a style and they went over and beyond to create research to prove their facts.It captured my attention seeing the different ways that our brain works when it sees a piece of art and how it reacts to it because this proves that aesthetic is a form of beauty and our brain captures certain images to process it and see if it fits our taste but most of the time all this happens in a matter of seconds and it occurs subconsciously which is the best part because we can't control it.  4. Both the videos and the article diffe
